Partnering Together For Impactful Education

Your Gifts Make a difference!

Your gifts are vital to the program we provide. Christian Life Academy is funded only by tuition and the gifts of our supporters. Tuition covers less than half of the real cost of education. All gifts are tax deductible. Christian Life Academy is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.

2 Corinthians 9:7

Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

GROWING IN FAITH TOGETHER CAMPAIGNS

High School Wing

Due to increased enrollment, we urgently needed additional high school classrooms, and though construction began in August 2016, we still require $120,000 to fully cover the costs; your prayers, donations, and contributions via the donate button or by contacting the school office at 814-676-9360 are crucial for settling these building expenses.

Parking Lot Paving Project

As we embarked on the academic journey of 2021, the imperative arose to address the deterioration plaguing our driveway and parking lot. Your generous contribution is earnestly sought to aid us in alleviating the financial burden associated with these necessary repairs and improvements.

PA TAX CREDIT (EITC)

In Pennsylvania, businesses can redirect their tax liability to support local schools directly. The state offers two programs: the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) and the Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC). These provide tax credits to those contributing to scholarship granting organizations and benefit Pennsylvania students.

EITC K-12 Scholarship Fund

Christian Life Academy: Option #1

EITC K-12 Scholarship Fund

This fund helps the most students who are in K -12.

PreK Scholarship Fund

Christian Life Academy: Option #2

PreK Scholarship Fund

This fund only helps PreK students.

OSTC Scholarship Fund

Christian Life Academy: Option #3

OSTC Scholarship Fund

This fund helps students in underperforming districts. Consider supporting the K-12 Scholarship fund for a wider impact.

In Pennsylvania, businesses that pay Corporate Net Income Tax, Capital Stock Franchise Tax, Bank and Trust Company Shares Tax, Title Insurance Companies Shares Tax, Insurance Premiums Tax, and Mutual Thrift Institutions Tax can contribute to the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. This program allows businesses to determine their tax liability, and 90%-100% of the EITC contribution is immediately approved as a tax credit.

To contribute, businesses can fill out a simple one-page application available on the state website right here. Once the contribution is made to one of the approved Scholarship Organizations, such as the Christian Life Scholarship Fund, a receipt is issued. Businesses can forward this receipt to the state to receive their tax credit.

The Christian Life Scholarship Fund will then distribute the contribution directly to approved families for scholarships. For more information, businesses can contact Christian Life Academy at 3973 State Route 257, Seneca, PA 16346, or reach out via phone at (814) 676-9360 or email at claoffice@christianlifeacademy.org.

HOW TO CONTRIBUTE TO EITC AS AN INDIVIDUAL.

Individual taxpayers in Pennsylvania can now participate in the EITC and OSTC tax credit programs, thanks to a major amendment (Act 194 of 2014). To join, submit tax credit applications, get approval, and complete a joinder agreement for a Special Purpose Entity (SPE). Contributors designate a school, and in return, they receive a K-1 by the end of February for tax returns. Participants can receive tax credits up to 90%, plus a federal charitable tax deduction.

To qualify, individuals must work for or own a business, not work for a non-profit or government entity (with exceptions), commit to two consecutive years of participation, and may need to meet a minimum contribution amount.

Benefits of joining an SPE include a 90% Pennsylvania tax credit and a federal charitable deduction for the remaining 10%. This enables taxpayers to use Pennsylvania taxes to support students at Christian Life Academy through scholarships.

CLA partners with these SPE organizations for scholarships: Children’s Tuition Fund, The Children’s Scholarship Fund of Pennsylvania, Faith Builders and Central Pennsylvania Scholarship Fund. For more information, reach out to one of these organizations or contact Christian Life Academy directly.
